Bulk liquids

For applications that use a lot of gas, cooling gases down until they reach liquid format enables larger volumes to be supplied and stored, so it is a more economical option. The products below are available as both compressed gases and as liquids in a range of volumes.

For companies that use large volumes of gases, our bulk liquids are the most economical option. Argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen are all available from Coregas in bulk liquid format and are all manufactured in Australia by our team of experts. Argon is available in both industrial and laboratory grade as a bulk liquid, CO2 in food and industrial grade, nitrogen in industrial, food, pharmaceutical and laboratory grade and oxygen in industrial grade.

For an accurate quotation on our bulk liquids prices, please call and let us know which type of gases you require and in what quantities.

In addition to our standard supply service, we also offer managed supply services for bulk liquids. We can monitor the liquid gas levels in your onsite storage vessels using a proprietary telemetry system that triggers automatic orders when certain levels are reached. Alternatively, the system can be configured to alert you when these levels are reached, and you can then place your orders manually. Whichever option you choose, our managed supply services for bulk liquids will make it much easier for you to maintain appropriate stock levels of all the gases you use.

If you have any questions about the bulk liquids that we manufacture or about our standard and managed supply services, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone during working hours or by email or fax.

  • Why does bulk liquid gas have to be stored upright?

Bulk liquids are stored in specially designed vessels (flat-bottomed cylinder tanks). Cryogenic liquid storage cylinder tanks (such as those used to store liquid nitrogen and oxygen) are comprised of three essential components: an inner pressure vessel in which the liquid itself is stored, usually made of stainless steel; an outer vessel, which is normally made of carbon steel; and an insulation space in between these two vessels. The insulation space is filled with insulating material that is maintained in a vacuum to ensure that the temperature of the liquid gas remains within accepted parameters; storing it upright helps maintain the integrity of these various components.

  • How much is bulk liquid gas?

If you would like to know how much a particular type of liquid gas costs, please feel free to call and speak to us whenever convenient. Prices vary depending on the types and grades of gases you require, and the quantities in which you require them.

  • How long does a cylinder tank of bulk liquid last?

This will depend on the size of the cylinder tank and your usage patterns. If you know roughly how much of a certain gas you use on a weekly basis and the size of the vessel in which it is stored, we can easily calculate how long a full cylinder tank will last.
