Used with a fuel gas for cutting, brazing and soldering, and also in the oxygenation of water, this industrial grade oxygen is available in a range of volumes as a compressed gas or a cryogenic liquid
O2
Vigorously supports combustion to signicantly increase flame temperature. In cryogenic liquid format, liquid oxygen is often abbreviated to "LOX".
Uses
- Widely used with fuel gases for welding, cutting, brazing and soldering. Gives a much higher flame temperature than air.
- Used in shielding gases to stabilise the arc and increase fluidity.
