Shieldpro 22 is a high performance gas for used for the welding of stainless steel, nickel and alloys

Ar /H₂

Shieldpro mixtures have the addition of predominantly helium, hydrogen or nitrogen, which improves performance in the areas of welding speed, penetration, profile, surface appearance, metallurgical benefits etc. This in turn improves the two major areas of concern in a welding process - quality and economics.

Uses

Ideal for TIG welding of stainless steel, nickel and alloys 2mm and above
Hydrogen addition gives higher welding speed due to hotter and more constricted arc
Austentic steels only
Increased deposition rates
Reduced oxides
Improved weld profile
