Coregas 5/2
Coregas 5/2 is a premium gas used primarily for the MIG welding of carbon steel. Great for clean, quality and economical welds.
Ar / CO2 / O2
Exellent arc stablity with strong welds. The addition of carbon dioxide (CO2) improves the shape of the weld bead. The addition of oxygen reduces the surface tension allowing the weld bead to spread out.
Uses
- Ideal for MIG welding steel up to 8mm
- Dip transfer, minimal spatter, good control when positional welding
- Wide bead reduces stress at the toe of the weld where cracks occur
