Acetylene, Instrument Grade

Instrument Grade Acetylene is an extremely flammable gas dissolved in acetone with a low phosphine level compared to industrial acetylene

C2H2

Instrument Grade Acetylene is used in atomic absorption flame spectrometers.

Uses

  • Combined with instrument air to produce the flame in atomic absorption flame spectroscopy
  • Component in calibration gas mixtures used in the oil and gas industry
  • Component in calibration gas used in lung function testing

Note: Cylinders are filled to weight. Nominal pressure does not determine full status. Nominal pressure 18.5 Bar or 1850 kPa.
